An Execution to Evolution/Something to Think About

First, I would like to introduce Ray Comforts new movie! Evolution vs. God! (evolutionvsGod.com) (raycomfort.com) and Livingwaters.com
Great movie! A LOT of people have watched it, and I loved it! one of the most telling parts in it is when Mr. Comfort asks the people he is interviewing this: 'if you saw your dog, and your rotten neighbor, drowning together, which would you save?' I am not lying when I say that every single one of them says the dog. I was astounded.

  And then, to debunk evolution:

Charles Darwin said this himself:

'If my theory, would get world-wide, I would be in shock, to have people believe that is mind-blowing.'

No, not perfect in words, but he did say that. and also this:

'When you look at a human eye, and examine it, it is impossible to not believe that there is no God.'

These were not published in his book, because we were born, 'haters of God' and wanting to get rid of God completely in our society today, they refused to publish it.
I found a picture of Evolution and Creation on Pinterest the other day, and I laughed so hard. I can't describe it, but it was such proof that Evolution is not true, that I loved it!
Also, here is a few facts:

If We Were To Lose 5 Seconds Of Oxygen:

Every concrete corner of a building would collapse.

If we were to gain 5 seconds of air:

paper planes would fly twice as fast.

Go ahead and just look it up! because it is truly, indescribable.

And a word to atheist and evolutionist's:

Are you for certain evolution is true? no,
you may think so, but you aren't. Go ahead and open up, I have. Listen to creationist give a sermon. And just completely open up, ready to accept any facts.
If an atheist died, and went to heaven to get judged, he has no escape from hell. none at all.
But if a Christian died and nothing happened, they have nothing to worry about. (we are all going to get judged, but this is an analogy.)
This is your eternal destiny, you are there FOREVER, non stop. I have this analogy I want to give.
Pretend that there is an endless rope, no end, whatsoever. On one tip, there is some red, think. The red is our life, the rest is our eternity, that NEVER ENDS. I worry about you all, I don't want to see you get sent to hell, I care about you.
We are all bad people, we have lied, stolen, blasphemed, looked with lust, dishonored our parents, and other things.
We all are going to go to hell, and what a terrible thought.
What we have to do is repent and trust God, and serve Him. It is so simple.

This is worth thinking about.

  1. If you get judged by Allah, you lose.
If you get judged by Thor, you lose.

I'll keep believing what the evidence points me to. At least if a deity asks me why I believed what I believed,I'll be able to explain (all you'll have is "that's what they told me, and I never questioned"). And if this deity sends people to a hell because they did not believe the right thing, then this deity is unjust and unworthy of being worshiped anyways.

Btw, atheists don't believe in Hell, threatening them with it is as useless as threatening you with not having Santa come this year. Most atheists don't believe in souls altogether. The question of where our soul will spend eternity is useless until and unless you can prove that the soul survives the destruction of the brain, for which you have no evidence.

As for your supposed quotes of Darwin, where do they come from? Show your work, girl.

  2. French engineer.... You do know that Darwin himself did not even believe his own theories? Atheists may not believe in a hell, but they do have morals, correct? Where does the basis for these morals come from? Morals are ultimately based on the 10 commandments. Don't believe me? Please tell me where you do think they come from.

    1. KJVO : even if you had proof that Darwin did not believe his own theories, which you have not produced, it would not change the facts that the ToE is the explanation of the diversity of life on earth that fits the evidence best. One person's opinion does not change that. Science is not about following the opinions of people, it is about following the evidence. You are attacking the wrong target. (You see chelcea? even grown-ups can do the mistakes you make, and even when they do it it is a mistake)

As for morality, it is the set of rules we have, as a species, developed in order to make living in communities possible. They are much older than Jesus or the ten commandments (Confucius had written the golden rule in 500 BC in china, it appears as early as 1780 BC in India, around the same time in Egypt, and so on and so forth.). Some version of it is present in nearly all cultures that developed writing in some of the earliest writings found, long before Judaism left the middle east.

Morality is simply the set of rules that work at getting us to live together, which happens to grant tremendous advantages in the surviving and reproducing department. Some of it has been working so long for us, individuals who had a natural tendency to follow these rules were favored, and these individuals exhibit moral behavior without being taught, from human babies (not learnt anything yet, but still distressed by depiction of immoral behavior) to apes (who exhibit moral and even altruistic behavior when observed interacting with their family units in their natural habitat) and even dogs, who have been working with us so long, those who could understand us on this level were favored.

You will note that out of the ten commandments, only four (thou shalt not steal, murder, bear false witness or commit adultery) are applicable moral laws, maybe five (with the one about honoring one's father, which I find questionable given that some parents are pretty much not honorable). The other commandments (no other gods, no graven images (oops, isn't your crucifix carved?) no using the name of the lord in vain, no working on the sabbath) are rules about religion and ritual and not universal morality rules. As for the (thou shalt not covet" rule or rules (depending on how you divide the text) it's simply not an applicable rule, since coveting is an emotion that happens to someone involuntarily, not a chosen action. Note that the negatives consequences of coveting are already covered by the "kill" and "steal" commandments. Moreover, the "shalt not covet" implicitly treats wives and servants as property, which is morally not defensible.

That's at best a one-in-two ratio, one would think that the "source of all morality" would have better rules.

      To sum up :
      - attacking science through the opinion of one man is useless
      - even more when you do so without providing evidence for your claims
      - morality has existed independently of your religion for a long while, and still does
      - morality is perfectly explainable without your religion
      - At least half of "the source for morality" you propose is pretty shoddy.

And, of course, you have not provided a single speck of evidence for the existence of your god as opposed to no god or any other god.

  3. King James Only- I would love to see your sources for Darwin not believing his own theory. Could you please provide some citations?
